Born on June 7, 1943, in Fall River, Massachusetts, Roger lived in The Villages, Florida.
Roger graduated from URI with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and he served in the Army Reserves. He enjoyed helping people prepare their taxes when he worked for the IRS for 35 years.
Roger married Diane on July 4, 1966, and together they celebrated 60 years of marriage. Roger played shuffleboard, loved war movies and westerns. He really loved his Red Sox team. He worked for a church as a counter and volunteered for many other church activities. He was a good husband, father and son, and he’d help anyone he knows.
Roger is survived by his wife Diane; children: Kevin and Karen; grandchildren: Miranda, Uzuri, AllahJah, Samantha, and Sarah; 6 great grandchildren and many extended family members.
He was preceded in death by his parents Manuel Dupont and Hortense (Moniz) and his sister Judith Barlow.
